Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers and the Tilburg University Board


[Lubbers1] Tilburg University, 1988: Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers (left on both photo's) receives the volume celebrating the Universities 12th lustrum, Aftellen tot 2000, W. Goddijn, J. Goedegebuure, K. Soudijn, H. Verdaasdonk (ed) Tilburg, Tilburg University Press, with hamminga B. "Arbeid en moraal in de spiegel van een utopie" as its opening chapter, from the hands of University Board President Piet Verheyen (photo left). The prime minister said he would certainly read it, but would probably be too busy for that in the next weekend. The University Board President is reported to have replied that he advised him certainly to read the first chapter, for this could yield him many a relaxed weekend later on.
