"The shower is free!!" About those were his last words. In high spirits, set for a Kampala pork joint visit ahead of a properly funded 3 months Europe holiday, from the shower he barely reached his bed to die of a sudden rupture of a big artery. He would have had no chance anywhere else, not in the best of hospitals. Earlier chance discovery and treatment could well have turned his life into something unacceptable.
Dom^{[surfboard entry]} is clickable on many of the pages made since I first anchored at his island on August 23^d, 2006 late morning: "Mr. Dominic I presume?". For long I have a special Banda index page. If I did not what I should it was writing too much about him rather than too little. I have nothing to add.

Dom (here behind his famous green metal box in characteristic preparation activity) was carrying many torches and I seem to be handed over one of them: on the night of his death I already heard a mourner whispering with great respect that only my clothes could match the shabbiness of what Dom was usually wearing.
